CHALLENGE
Waste stream from processing facility contained unsuitable materials (plastics and assorted debris) that prevented the beneficial reuse through land application on local farmers fields.
SOLUTIONS
Eagle installed an automated system that separated the unsuitable materials from the waste stream 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The system can process various flow rates from the plant without added labor requirements.
Saved 35,000 tons of landfill capacity and diverted to beneficial reuse.
BENEFITS
The removal of the unsuitable materials produced a product that was acceptable to the local farmers for land application. This resulted in reduced costs to our customer and preserved their valuable landfill capacity. A win/win to a challenging problem.
